You'll be integral to enhancing cybersecurity measures, analyzing DDoS attacks, and maintaining essential security controls. This 6-month contract position has the potential to transition into a permanent role, contributing to a safer digital workplace in higher education institutions.

Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and respond to DDoS incidents across systems • Develop DDoS detection rules and mitigation strategies • Collaborate with security teams and IT vendors • Conduct incident response for network-based attacks • Create comprehensive security reports and documentation

Requirements: • Solid organizational and communication skills • Experience with cybersecurity monitoring operations • Knowledge of firewalls, TCP/IP, and networking • Familiarity with relevant IT security frameworks • Combination of education, certifications, and pertinent experience
