- Working withcommunity groups to explore their needs and abilities, and toagree on solutions.
- Set up and manage a varietyof social assistance programs and community services.
- Providing care,support, and counseling to individuals dealing with issues such asadult daycare, substance abuse, human relationships, andrehabilitation.
- Helping communities to shareknowledge and resources effectively.
- Review client backgroundinformation, interview clients to obtain case history andprepare intake reports.
- Assessing the different needsof a community and setting up resources to meet them.

Requirements

- College, CEGEPor other non-university certificate or diploma from aprogram.
- 1-2 years of experience in related field.
- Excellent writtenand oral communication skills, including report writing.
- The ability towork both on your own and in a team.
- Excellent listening skillsand confidence in talking to people both in groups and on aone-to-one basis.
- Valuable leadership, motivationaland organizational skills.

Salary: $21.27 - $32.00 per hour
