As the company expands across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. - this hire will provide clarity, structure and accountability. The goal is to replace a fragmented, multi‑system model with a single, reliable finance engine. You will shape how financial data drives decisions, improve forecasting accuracy, and enable sustainable growth while supporting an ambitious product roadmap and global operations.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the finance team, including direct oversight of accounting control and FP&A; functions.Build and enforce strong controllership: ensure accurate month‑end closing, clean financial statements, and consistent accounting across jurisdictions.Own the migration from multiple legacy accounting systems into a unified ERP ensuring data integrity, clear processes, and timely implementation.Develop and maintain standardized policies and controls covering revenue recognition, cash flow, inter-company transactions, and segregation of duties.Deliver timely, reliable financial results each month and quarter, providing variance analysis and actionable insight to senior leadership.Partner with business unit leaders to drive budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning - supporting new product launches, pricing strategies, expansion, and cost control.Manage global reporting requirements including consolidated reporting to corporate finance and support treasury, FX, and cash flow forecasting.Support/guidance on procurement, compliance, payroll and indirect operational costs as needed,
