THE ROLE The Facilities and Stores Assistant schedules the use of programs and services within the recreational facilities. They issue and monitor memberships, passes and reconciles fees collected. They routinely inspect equipment and facilities for safety and take corrective action, as required. They procure and control consumable inventory and perform minor maintenance on equipment. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses High school diploma AND some experience in a supply or warehouse environment OR An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered. AND Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications A valid driver’s licence (NL) Experience In maintenance and repair of sports and fitness equipmentIn cash handlingIn maintaining grounds, buildings and facilitiesIn servicing motorized equipment Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
