As a critical member of the GMS team, you'll be responsible for ensuring orders are built accurately and efficiently. This position requires a robust commitment to safety, along with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors. You will utilize your forklift skills to facilitate the protected delivery of building materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete routine lift truck inspections and maintenance
• Prepare orders following customer specifications
• Safely load and unload materials while ensuring accuracy
• Communicate with management to resolve operational challenges
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Valid propane forklift certification mandated
• Two years of experience operating forklifts needed
• Effective communication ability, both written and verbal
• Basic math and hand tool skills required
• Capability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs
