Join Community Living Hamilton as a part time Direct Support Facilitator, where you support clients in group living settings through engaging social and recreational interactions.
This temporary role is expected to last around 12 months. Candidates should have a background in social sciences, with a preference for those holding a DSW certificate. The role emphasizes building rapport and crafting individual support plans that help clients thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with recreational and learning-based activities
• Develop and implement Person Directed Plans
• Ensure the safety and dignity of clients at all times
• Maintain effective communication with clients and team members
• Uphold community reputation through respectful actions
Requirements:
• DSW, SSW, or related field degree
• Two years of experience with developmental disabilities
• NVCI and First Aid/CPR certifications required
• Solid advocacy and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license for transportation needs
