As a full time Occupational Therapist at AgeCare, you will assess and enhance the functional abilities of seniors. Your role will involve developing individualized care plans, implementing treatment strategies, and collaborating with a dedicated interdisciplinary team. Your skills in improving self-care, productivity, and leisure activities will make a significant difference in residents’ quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments for each resident
• Develop treatment plans aligned with resident goals
• Integrate residents into therapeutic activities




• Regularly evaluate goals and adapt treatment plans
• Provide comprehensive documentation relating to care provided
Requirements:
• Valid registration with the provincial regulatory board
• Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Previous experience in gerontology is preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check needed
