Job Description
- Recruit, train andmanage catering staff.
- Schedule employeework hours to ensure all shifts are fully met.
- Complete payroll andmaintain employment records.
- Ensure customersreceive quality food in a timely manner.
- Regularly inspect allwork areas to ensure compliance with food safety and healthregulations. Inventory food and other consumables, orderessentials as needed, and receive deliveries.
- Accurately count allcash and checks.
- Examine sales recordsto identify the most profitable menu items.
- Arrange cleaning andmaintenance services including trash removal, pest control,deep cleaning and equipment maintenance as required.
Requirements
- High School Diplomaor GED.
- Bachelor'sdegree in hotel and restaurant management, foodservice management or related field ispreferred.
- Food ProtectionManagement (FPMC) or Food Service Management (FMP)Professional Certification is beneficial.
- Proven experienceworking in the restaurant industry.
- Positive knowledge oflabor law as well as health and food safety regulations.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptionalleadership and management skills.
- Exceptionalcustomer service and communication skills.
- Attention todetail.
- Ability to standfor long periods of time.
