We are seeking a skilled Cook with a culinary degree and Red Seal certification to join our Hospital’s Food Services team. You will utilize your five years of cooking experience, including apprenticeship work, to create nutritious meals. Familiarity with Cook chill, Batch cooking, and Therapeutic diets is preferred, along with robust HACCP and Food Safety knowledge to ensure quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
• Maintain food safety and quality assurance standards




• Read and execute standardized recipes accurately
• Work independently in a busy kitchen setting
• Collaborate with the kitchen team for effective meal service
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved culinary course
• Red Seal Cook certification
• 5 years of practical cooking experience
• Food Handlers certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
