Make a difference at Durham District School Board as a Long-Term Occasional Teacher for junior students. Engage young learners with agile lessons tailored to support their educational journey.

This LTO role offers the chance to cultivate a supportive learning atmosphere. You will develop cutting-edge lesson plans, track student progress, and ensure each student feels included. Your collaboration with parents and team members will enhance overall educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities: • Create and implement engaging, curriculum-based lessons • Assess student achievements and provide actionable feedback • Establish a respectful, inclusive classroom setting • Collaborate with community and educators for optimal learning • Modify teaching strategies to suit diverse student needs

Requirements: • Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing • Required qualifications for Junior education • Dedication to supporting diverse learning environments • Willingness for a part time role (0.7 FTE) • Current Criminal Background Check with vulnerable sector screening
