Company: Finning Canada Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Permanent PositionOverviewThis position is responsible for general shipping/receiving and warehousing duties.Job DescriptionPicking customer and branch parts ordersPacking and labeling parts orders for shipmentSorting and binning incoming stockLoading and unloading of the parts trucksHose building may be requiredParticipate in annual cycle count to ensure inventory accuracyMaintain warehouse and yard storage areas to align with Finning housekeeping standards and to ensure a safe work environmentPerform daily inspections of tooling and small equipment as well as replenish warehouse supplies as neededAccurately sort and assign bin location for incoming stockAccurately identify and clean equipment parts and attachments prior to stockingPerform minor assembly and refurbishment as requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma (Grade 12)Previous parts warehousing and/or heavy equipment experience would be considered an assetHold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHIMS and TDGA strong commitment to safety is imperativeImportant InformationThis position is based in Prince George, BC on a 5x2 shift. (Monday-Friday) Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements.
