Your work will involve drafting and negotiating legal documents, representing FMB in various proceedings, and advising on governance matters. Understanding cultural complexities and legal frameworks is vital for success in this impactful position.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee corporate governance and legal compliance
Provide legal counsel for Board and organizational activities
Draft, review,
and negotiate essential contracts
Collaborate with external legal and government representatives
Assess legal risks and develop proactive solutionsRequirements:
LLB or JD with active membership in a Law Society
10+ years of pertinent legal experience
Solid knowledge of ATIP and Indigenous legislation
Excellent verbal and written communication
