In MDS we work with some of Canada’s most successful physicians and their families to provide end-to-end financial planning services, tailored to meet our client’s unique needs. The MDS Financial Planning Team (FPT) provides customized financial planning to our MDS clients Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning, as the Senior Manager, Signature Planners, you will be accountable for the day‑to‑day oversight of approximately 15 MD Signature Planning team members, ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures, with the ultimate goal of providing consistent, physician focused and best‑in‑class financial planning. Lead the strategic and tactical implementation of best‑in‑class advice and solutions specifically related to MD Signature financial planning. You will support the recruitment process and working with senior management and Human Resources in the selection and hiring process for current Signature Planners. You will provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to Signature Financial Planners regarding best practices, client concerns, meaningful client conversations, tool usage, and potential business opportunities to ensure sales objectives and client expectations are met and employee engagement remains high. You will identify and implement initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency.
