Reporting to the Regulatory Supervisor, USA F&B;, Nutrition and CAHN the individual will be responsible for providing documentation and regulatory expertise to both internal and external customers. This role will be responsible for ensuring product compliance with US Food, Feed and Pet Food regulations. Key Responsibilities
Generate technical packaging information for manufactured and distributed products including ingredient declarations, nutrition information and allergen charts. Provide regulatory support for the US Food and Beverage, Feed and Pet Food markets Manage regulatory customer inquiries related to all Caldic products Maintain technical parameters for products in Optiva database Facilitate the completion of Customer-Own-Forms and Questionnaires Review labels issued for Caldic North American Sites Assist with document collection for audits related to product certifications (Kosher, Organic, Non GMO Project Verification, Halal etc) Keep current on regulatory issues, especially food labeling related to U.S. market Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including R&D;, QA and Sales Other tasks as assigned Knowledge / Skills & Experience
Science Degree or Diploma,
(Preference for specialization in Food Science or Nutrition) 2+ years work experience in the food industry is an asset with a focus on US Food regulations Proven ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced customer centric environment Strong attention to detail and follow through skills Experience in a Customer Service role is an asset Superior organization and time management Team player with exceptional communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills Demonstrates initiative and accountability, excellent problem-solving skills About Caldic
