Take on the role of a Fitness Class Instructor at Fitness World in Nanaimo, BC. Provide an engaging fitness experience while ensuring member satisfaction and safety.

In this full time position, you report to the General Manager, focusing on delivering high-quality classes that retain members. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe setting, cleaning equipment pre- and post-class, and adapting exercises for participants. Building relationships with other departments will also be key to facilitating a community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:



• Greet and assist fitness class participants in office • Clean all equipment and promote hygiene among classes • Deliver classes as per the specified format and guidelines • Instruct participants on safe use of equipment • Address issues and report incidents to the General Manager

Requirements: • Proven experience in fitness instruction or education • Strong team collaboration and communication abilities • Familiarity with fitness safety standards and practices • Enthusiasm in fostering community-oriented initiatives • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
