Be a catalyst for change as the Empowerment Facilitator for the Black Achievers Program at the YMCA in Etobicoke. This role will directly enhance educational pathways for Black youth.
In this full time Workshop Facilitator position, you'll establish and run mentoring programs that celebrate Black youth's involvement across academic and career platforms. Your efforts in creating a welcoming space will foster personal growth and leadership development among participants. Engage with community specialists to support youth mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engaging and relevant workshop material
• Facilitate both in-person and virtual workshops
• Complete necessary documentation and case notes




• Participate in marketing initiatives related to the program
• Collaborate effectively with team members
Requirements:
• Preferred background: University Degree or relevant diploma
• Two years of experience in group facilitation
• High level of presentation and written communication skills
• Knowledge of the education and labor market
• Robust dedication to diversity and anti-Black racism awareness
