As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will utilize your communication skills and situational awareness to create secure spaces in hospitals, clinics, and care units. You'll handle security responsibilities, manage incidents, and support healthcare teams in upholding a safe setting. This role requires professionalism and a proactive approach to emerging security concerns.
Key Responsibilities: • Patrol to monitor safety across assigned areas • Engage respectfully with patients, staff, and visitors • Respond to emergencies and assist in conflict resolution • Document incidents with attention to detail • Support healthcare teams as needed
Requirements: • Must hold a valid BC Security Worker License • Previous healthcare security experience preferred • Robust interpersonal skills for diverse interactions • Proficiency in report writing on basic software • Must be flexible with shift timings
