This caretaker position operates under the school administrator’s guidance and the Caretaking Manager’s technical oversight. You will manage daily building operations while fostering a clean and protected setting for students, staff, and the community. Your expertise in caretaking will be vital in achieving a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily caretaking and building operations
• Ensure cleanliness and safety for all occupants
• Monitor and reset boiler and HVAC systems
• Operate floor cleaning and maintenance equipment
• Maintain confidentiality regarding staff and student information
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 3 years caretaking experience
• Interest in WHMIS and Fireman's Certificate training
• Knowledge of building maintenance and repair functions
• Ability to operate outdoor equipment safely
