Join our team as an Assistant Swim Instructor and help swimmers build confidence and skills using our Small Steps approach. Engage children and families in a structured, positive setting for enjoyable lessons.
You will lead high-energy swim classes, encouraging progress and creating a fun atmosphere at our warm pools, where classes have a maximum of three swimmers. Flexibility in scheduling allows you to balance work with school or other commitments. Your role will also involve qualified communication with families, ensuring a smooth flow of each class.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach swimmers using the Small Steps method
• Build water confidence and essential swimming skills
• Lead protected and structured lessons with high energy
• Communicate warmly with families about progress
• Support the team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
• First Aid and CPR-C certification required
• Bronze Cross certification needed
• Must complete Making Waves Coach Course
• Positive communicator and team-oriented
• Available for 2+ shifts weekly
