Manufacturing Engineering Technologist (Onsite)Kardium Inc., 155-8518 Glenlyon Parkway, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.Hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute test plans for recent and updated manufacturing processes.Support the implementation of new processes, automation projects and assembly lines.Source, machine, assemble, and install equipment in manufacturing and the training center.Modify and upgrade equipment to support design changes in production and the training center.Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with their implementation.Assist in qualifying equipment and collaborate with various team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.Other tasks as assigned.Experience & QualificationsHands‑on craftsperson with an eye for detail and precision.Technical diploma or equivalent education and experience.Minimum three years of experience in manufacturing or machine shop work.Experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment; understanding of GMP isan asset.Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 13485 is an asset.Experience with highly tolerant mechanical components and electro‑mechanical assemblies.Familiarity with assembly, test, and documentation requirements for medical devices.Skills and AttributesExcellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.Excellent technical documentation skills.Ability to deal with changing priorities and requirements.Ability to read assembly drawings, procedures, and part lists.Ability to use the following tools:Socket sets & wrenches, pliers, screw drivers.Soldering & laser welding equipment.Some mill and lathe experience desirable.Compensation and BenefitsAnnual salary range: $65,000 – $85,000 CAD.Benefits include comprehensive medical and dental coverage (effective Day 1, no waiting period), RRSP contribution, 3 personal days per year, stock option plan, professional membership support, and family building benefits such as maternity and adoptive leave top‑up and fertility drug treatment coverage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
