In this role, reporting to the Nutrition Manager, you will play a crucial part in the meal service process, ensuring residents receive their meals in a courteous and skilled manner. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, cleaning duties, and engaging in special events to foster community spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals to residents and visitors gracefully
• Aid in the setup of food and beverage items for meals
• Clear and clean dining tables after service
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area
• Help train newcomers in dietary standards and practices
Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Previous food service experience, especially with seniors
• Enrollment in Food Service Worker Training preferred
• Strong customer service skills and dedication
• Must be able to perform physical tasks
