Be a vital part of the TRCA as a Research Analyst focusing on ecosystem and climate data analysis. This role combines technical expertise with impactful environmental planning and restoration efforts.
The Research Analyst position requires robust data management skills and a deep understanding of environmental science. Responsibilities include conducting geo-spatial assessments, preparing presentations, and reporting findings to diverse stakeholders. You will play a significant role in supporting the analysis of scientific data, ensuring the integrity of research practices, and implementing creative statistical methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quality control checks on data
• Analyze data sets using ArcGIS or equivalent software
• Prepare compelling reports and visualizations
• Coordinate projects and present findings
• Build and interpret hydrological models
Requirements:
• Degree in Biology, Geography, or Environmental Sciences
• Over 2 years of related research experience
• Proficient in statistical and spatial software
• Robust analytical and reporting skills
• Valid Ontario Class G2 driver's license
