We help empower utilities and pipeline owners to better allocate resources and strengthen proactive pipeline management strategies.Forge Connections, Fuel GrowthWe are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead product definition, prioritization, and outcomes, translating customer, partner, regulatory, and operational requirements into practical, deployable solutions.How will you contribute to the team?The Product Manager is responsible to own the end-to-end lifecycle of our infrastructure technology products. This role is accountable for product strategy, execution, and commercial outcomes, balancing technical feasibility, customer needs, and financial performance.This is a hands‑on role that provides functional leadership across engineering, operations, finance, and external partners.Product Strategy & OwnershipOwn the full product lifecycle, from concept and applied R&D; through pilot deployment, iteration, scaling, and commercializationDefine product vision, objectives, success metrics, and outcomes aligned with business goals and customer needsAct as the primary owner of product scope, roadmap, prioritization, and delivery outcomesTranslate customer, regulatory, infrastructure, and operational requirements into clear, actionable product requirementsCustomer, Partner & Market InsightsEngage with municipal, industrial, and institutional partners to understand user needs and deployment environmentsGather and synthesize feedback from pilots, field deployments,



and partners into prioritized product improvementsRepresent the voice of the customer and end user in cross-functional decision‑makingEnsure solutions are practical, reliable, scalable, and ready for real?world deploymentRoadmap, Prioritization & Decision‑MakingDevelop and maintain a product roadmap covering features, pilots, enhancements, and operational readinessPrioritize work based on customer impact, technical feasibility, risk, and financial returnMake informed trade‑off decisions across scope, timeline, cost, and performanceRecommend go/no‑go decisions for pilots, enhancements, and scaling initiativesFinancial Ownership & P&L; AccountabilityDefine and evolve product pricing and commercial modelsAnalyze cost drivers, unit economics, cost‑to‑serve, and cost‑to‑scaleDevelop and maintain product‑level financial forecastsTrack performance against revenue, cost, and margin targetsRecommend design, pricing, or scope adjustments to improve long‑term product viabilityPilot Execution & ScalingDefine measurable success criteria for pilot deploymentsOversee planning and execution of pilots and field trials with engineering and operations teamsAssess pilot outcomes against product and financial metricsUse evidence from pilots to support commercialization and scaling decisionsCross‑Functional & External LeadershipProvide product direction and clarity to engineering, operations, manufacturing, and partnersAlign teams around shared goals, timelines, success metrics, and financial objectivesCoordinate with vendors,



fabricators, and service providers to meet performance and cost targetsReporting, Compliance & GovernancePrepare and support internal reporting on product progress, risks, and financial performanceContribute to documentation for government‑funded or regulated projectsEnsure product records align with internal quality, safety, and compliance standardsMaintain organized product documentation to support audits, reviews, and scalingEducation & Skill RequirementsPostsecondary degree or equivalent experience in engineering, applied science, product management, or a related technical field3–6 years of experience in product management, technical product ownership, or a related roleExperience translating customer and operational needs into product requirementsProven ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and external partnersStrong analytical, organizational, and documentation skillsDemonstrated ability to make structured trade‑off and prioritization decisionsExperience with hardware‑enabled products, field‑deployed systems, or infrastructure technologyExposure to pricing models, unit economics, or product‑level financial analysisExperience supporting pilot deployments or early‑stage commercializationFamiliarity with government‑funded, grant‑based, or regulated project environmentsProduct or project management certificationSalary RangeSalary range between $75K-125K, depending on experienceThis is a full time positionKenWave is an inclusive and equal prospect employer committed to providing diversity and accommodation for applicants upon request in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).#J-18808-Ljbffr
