High School Woods/ConstructionTeacher Ecole Sir John Franklin HighSchool Grade 9 to 12 Full time (100% FTE) Term Position August 31, 2026 to January 26, 2027 Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Education Degree, a NWT Teacher Certification and :

Training and/or experience teaching woods/construction

An understanding of competency based education

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Experience teaching at the Secondary level

Understanding of universal design for learning

Understanding of backwards design

Understanding of triangulation of evidence of learning

Candidates must have an original acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) in place. The original VSC must be dated within 90 days of the date theapplication is received. This is a condition of employment, and must be inplace prior to commencing work in any school.
