As part of this role you will build scalable infrastructure, APIs/services, and work with a team that is passionate and makes an impact on the physical economy. We are looking for accomplished engineers to not just deliver products for our customers, but to go beyond using the latest technologies.What You’ll DoCollaborate across teams to design, deliver and support scalable product featuresMake scalable design choices, while championing quality and simplicityLeverage AI tools such as Cursor, CoPilot to increase productivity and code qualityBuild appropriate monitoring, logging,
debugging for the health of the systemMentor and learn from the developers within the engineering organisationWhat We’re Looking ForA degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field4+ years software development experienceExperience building product infrastructure, distributed systems and data modelsExperience in Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, Javascript/Node.Js or similar languageExperience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and CassandraExperience building for Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure or private cloudsThis is ahybrid role, with the expectation of being in our Toronto, Canada or Vancouver, Canada office 2 days per week.Pay TransparencyYour compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units.
