From our office in Downtown Toronto, we’ve created leading eCommerce experiences in the online grocery shopping, beauty, pharmacy, and apparel spaces, and we’re only just getting started.Why is this role important?As the first Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will establish and lead the Product Marketing function within Loblaw Digital, Media and Loyalty – playing a critical role in how we bring our digital products and features to market. Embedded within the product organization, you will define how product marketing operates by setting strategy, building scalable frameworks, and driving clear, consistent go-to-market execution. You will act as the bridge between product and customer – translating customer needs into insight, and product capabilities into compelling, differentiated value. You will lead go-to-market strategies for product releases, develop customer-facing messaging, and enable cross-functional teams to deliver successful launch outcomes. As a strategic individual contributor, you will leverage a network of partners across product, design, research, marketing, engineering, and analytics to drive impact at scale.What You’ll DoLeadership & StrategyCo-create the Product Marketing function, including scope, priorities and operating modelBuild product marketing playbook, including messaging/ positioning frameworks, go-to-market standards, launch planning and communication models, including standardized release communication workflowsEvangelize product marketing best practices and scalable processes across the organizationChampion a customer-centric mindset within the product development and launch planning processContinuously refine how we plan, communicate, and measure product successGo-to-Market Planning & ExecutionDevelop, manage, and execute go-to-market plans for recent features, enhancements, and product releases across web and app experiencesBuild clear positioning, messaging, and value propositions for customer-facing communicationsCreate internal and external launch materials including FAQs, briefs, readiness guides, product overviewsDrive alignment across product, marketing, and design to ensure cohesive executionMessaging & PositioningTranslate complex product capabilities into simple,
customer-centric narrativesDevelop transparent customer-focused content across multiple channels (email, push notifications, in-app messaging, web, social) in partnership with brand and digital marketing teamsEnsure and maintain communication consistency across all customer and stakeholder touchpointsCreate scalable messaging frameworks that empower teams to adopt and executeCross-Functional Collaboration & EnablementPartner closely with Product Management, UX, Engineering, Marketing, and Digital Experience teams to ensure alignment on launch objectives, messaging, and customer impactFacilitate workshops and alignment sessions to ensure clarity on strategy, messaging, and prioritiesIntegrate communication planning into early stages of the product development lifecycleSupport internal teams (i.E.
