Location: North York, ON - Hybrid 2-3 days per week on-siteContract Duration: 1 year with an option to extend the contract by 2 years in 1 year incrementsWorking Hours: 35 hours per weekPay Rate: $60-90/hour as T4 or INCJob Title: Risk Management SpecialistResponsibilities:- Lead project risk workshops and meetings to identify, assess, and prioritize risks, and develop appropriate response strategies for the Project Risk Register.- Support project management teams in implementing and maintaining risk management practices, including developing risk registers, running risk profiles, and establishing confidence levels for outcomes.- Regularly review risk registers with project teams at various stages to ensure effective risk management and provide updates to project management.- Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analysis to inform decision-making processes.- Compile risk information and generate quarterly reports for project managers.- Contribute to the development of risk management procedures and work instructions.Qualifications and Experience:- Minimum of 3-5 years of full-time experience as a Project Risk Skilled,



preferably in civil infrastructure or construction projects.- Proficiency in reviewing technical documents (e.G., drawings, design basis, schedules, estimates) to identify project scope and risks.- Demonstrated experience in leading and facilitating risk workshops.- Hands-on experience in data collection and qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.- Solid understanding of basic engineering and construction methodologies.- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.- Familiarity with the Ontario Human Rights Code and related accessibility requirements is preferred.Education and Certifications:- Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in an engineering-related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.- Certification from industry-leading organizations such as PMI or AACE in Risk Management is considered an asset.
