The MATH Help Centre at the University of Manitoba is looking for a CUPE 3909 Student Tutor. This position includes planning instructional sessions, evaluating student performance, and offering consultations. With a commitment of 5 hours weekly, you can balance this role with your studies, making a meaningful impact on fellow students' academic journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend necessary meetings on course coordination • Consult and prepare educational materials for students • Mark and provide feedback on student assignments • Hold regular consultation sessions for students • Support in field trips and lab experiments when required
Requirements: • Completion of academic studies relevant to mathematics • An understanding and empathetic approach to students • Proficient English communication skills • Preference for candidates within related study fields • Capacity to engage in various teaching formats
