The Municipal Insurance Association of British Columbia is inviting applications for a Legal Counsel for a one-year contract. Ideal candidates will have a law license for BC and 3-7 years of litigation experience. Your work will cover all case aspects, from investigation to trial preparation, enhancing service delivery for our members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate claims and gather necessary information
• Advise and instruct adjusters and legal experts
• Draft legal opinions and reports
• Manage settlements and trial preparations
• Collaborate effectively with team members and members

Requirements:
• Between 3-7 years litigation experience
• BC legal practice license
• Solid commitment to member service
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
