About the Opportunity Prairie Mall Dental Clinic is seeking an Associate Dentist to join our team for a maternity leave coverage opportunity beginning in late October or early November 2026.
This position offers the rare combination of a built-in patient base, strong compensation, schedule flexibility, and access to mentorship and clinical support within a larger network of Grande Prairie clinics.
The successful candidate will inherit an established schedule that includes recall patients, new patient exams, and ongoing treatment from a busy associate's patient base. Whether you're an experienced clinician seeking a locum opportunity or a motivated new graduate looking for support and hands-on experience, this role offers an excellent opportunity to grow.
Schedule Flexibility Preferred Coverage Monday to Thursday
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Flexible Scheduling Options 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Monday through Wednesday are the highest-priority days
Open to candidates seeking shorter-term or extended coverage
Schedule can be customized based on availability
Coverage Term: Approximately 4 months, with flexibility both shorter and longer for the right candidate.

About You: Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
Valid CPR certification
