You’ll work from Monday to Friday, ensuring impactful health promotion and harm reduction initiatives. Your lived experience and skilled knowledge will help foster relationships and provide essential guidance for peers in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate peer support and health promotion activities
• Implement harm reduction strategies in community settings
• Mentor and guide peers in various environments
• Advocate for health services within Indigenous communities
• Prepare and present materials for community engagement
Requirements:
• Two years of experience in peer mentoring and social services
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural principles and health contexts
• Valid BC Driver's License may be required
• Grade 12 education with ongoing relevant coursework
• Commitment to Truth and Reconciliation principles
