Job title: Shipping & Receiving (Forklift Operator)

TalentWorld is recruiting a Shipping & Receiving (Forklift Operator) in Winipeg, Manitoba (Transcona Area) for one of our partners.

Responsibilities

Load and secure product onto flat decks, dry vans, and other transport vehicles

Handle oversized product and crates with proper safety and securement

Verify shipping docs, labels, and product IDs before every shipment

Coordinate carrier pickups and stage orders for on-time departure

Operate indoor/outdoor forklifts and material handling equipment

Fulfill orders accurately per Bill of Lading and carrier requirements





Maintain organized warehouse/yard storage and assist with inventory counts

Follow all safety protocols and support team efficiency on the floor

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred

3–5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, including loading oversized product onto flat decks and semi-trailers

Forklift certification considered an asset (in-house certification provided)

Outdoor pneumatic-tire counterbalance forklift experience preferred

WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification asset

Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping software is an asset

Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Able to work 90% outdoors and 10% indoors

Able to work in various weather conditions

Must have CSA-approved steel toe boots and a hi-vis vest

Able to pass background checks

Able to pass an onsite forklift test

Must provide 2–3 professional references

Own transportation and a full Class 5 driver's license preferred

Able to start immediately

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Location: Transcona Industrial Area, Winnipeg

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
