In this Labourer role, you will focus on keeping Bear Street, Caribou Street, and critical intersections clear of snow and ice. Using specialized equipment like Toolcat, Bobcat, and hand tools, you will ensure that public spaces, including sidewalks and bike racks, are safe for all users. Additional Streets-related responsibilities may be assigned as operational requirements dictate.

Key Responsibilities:
• Transparent snow and ice from public sidewalks and walkways
• Maintain pedestrian amenities for safety and accessibility




• Operate small trucks and power brooms effectively
• Ensure the safe maintenance of designated streets
• Assist with varied Streets department tasks as needed

Requirements:
• Previous experience in snow or ice management is an asset
• Ability to handle and operate equipment safely
• Strong focus on public safety and service
• Capable of working outdoors in cold conditions
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
