Key Requirements

Must be able to work rotating shift schedules

Must be able to commute to Bolton

Pay Range
$23-30 hourly.

Job Purpose
Primary responsibility is to assemble, fit and install manufactured components and sub‑assemblies to form completed systems.

Responsibilities

Assemble, fit and install pre‑fabricated parts and sub‑assemblies to form completed systems

Determine assembly procedures for a part of a subsystem

Oversight of self‑assembly automation tools

Involved in prototyping, new product launch, complex systems

Creates and develops assembly procedures

Develops and implements flow‑line procedures with a wholesome understanding of troubleshooting

Generates multiple hypotheses, creatively, regarding the causes of a problem by employing methodical, logical approaches to problem solving





Ensure Husky's productivity and quality standards are met

Root cause analysis and problem solve quality issues

Field support to customers

Inspect and test mold components to determine feasibility

Conducts root cause analysis and evaluation and provide field support

Implement continuous improvement initiatives in parts and procedures

Implements continuous improvement programs

Understands trends, debugging measurements errors, and working with automation specialists/ME’s to enable the closed‑loop mechanism

Develops and enhances solutions to enable adoption of changes to the organization

Lead cross‑training and knowledge sharing activities with other team members

Cross‑train in other areas within the business, and train other team members

Builds training plans, and delivers training to teams and other areas within the business, as required

Develops safety standards and mentors others in ensuring guidelines are met

Education / Experience / Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

College Diploma or certificate in Mold Making or Tool and Die Making preferred

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing (demonstrated ability in Mold Refurbishment/and current Mold Making)

Previous assembly and refurbishing experience (Mold making experience preferred).

Knowledge of assembly tools and relevant equipment (e.g., performing single disciplines in hydraulics mechanics or electrical assemblies, etc.)

Ability to understand and interpret design content





Understanding of Husky’s Quality standards and requirements

Self‑inspection/metrology and autonomous troubleshooting

Apply a process‑oriented problem‑solving approach across a variety of situations and activities

Able to lift minimum of 35 lbs

Ability to detect problems, errors and conflicts within complex blueprints

Understanding of data output, trends and SPCs

Understands and follows Husky EH&S; guidelines

A versatile learner, is receptive to change and able to pick up current technical knowledge quickly (e.g., performing single disciplines in hydraulics, mechanics or electrical assemblies)

Committed to achieving targets in alignment with Husky’s values

Demonstrates initiative and takes accountability of their work

Understanding of assembly procedures, knowledge of assembly work flows and sequencing of activities an asset
