Cognizant in Brampton, Ontario is seeking an experienced Deskside Engineer Lead. In this onsite position, you'll provide essential support to traders and enhance the reliability of critical trading platforms and market data feeds.

As a key player on the trading floor, you will ensure that traders have access to all necessary applications, including Bloomberg and Refinitiv/Eikon. Troubleshooting issues, managing service requests through ITSM tools, and collaborating across vendor teams will be vital aspects of your daily responsibilities. A solid background in financial services IT is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to traders and front-office users
• Troubleshoot desktops and multi-monitor setups




• Manage incidents efficiently through ServiceNow
• Coordinate with vendor teams for prompt issue resolution
• Document processes and adhere to ITIL standards

Requirements:
• 4-8 years in Financial Services IT Support
• Experience with trading applications and technologies
• Expertise in troubleshooting Windows and Mac devices
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Citrix environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
