EAFWR is seeking a compassionate Junior Repair Technician to enhance their service offerings. This role focuses on helping local residents repair their broken household items and participate in hands-on learning opportunities. By contributing to a circular economy, you will help foster relationships and promote sustainable practices in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct repairs on small appliances and tools
• Guide customers through repair processes
• Keep a detailed record of repairs and maintenance
• Organize repair events to educate the community
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace for repairs
Requirements:
• Relevant lived experience of disability
• Experience with household equipment repair
• Robust problem-solving abilities and communication skills
• Comfortable using repair tools and lifting materials
• High school diploma or equivalent
