The Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre seeks an Online Learning Facilitator in Saskatoon. This part-time role focuses on monitoring student progress and supporting effective online learning in a collaborative environment.
In this 6.5 hours per day position, you will work closely with online educators and student support professionals. Your primary tasks will include tracking student engagement, advocating for their needs, and facilitating their progress. Your empathetic approach will foster student-teacher communications and enhance learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer various tasks to aid students' educational journey
• Collaborate with teams including online teachers and admins
• Monitor and update student pace and progress tools
• Encourage effective communication between students and teachers
• Supervise student placements with accurate reporting
Requirements:
• Ability to work independently online
• Robust interpersonal skills for rapport building
• Knowledge of online learning systems
• Willingness to travel for supervisory duties
