As a key member of SNP's Secondary School, the Social Counsellor will assist students with mental health and personal challenges. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and present lessons on coping mechanisms
• Implement individual success plans through counseling
• Partner with teachers to address behavioral concerns
• Guide students in developing interpersonal skills
• Participate in community resource collaborations
Requirements:
• Formal post-secondary education in Social Work
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Certification with Ontario College of Social Workers
• Exposure to Indigenous communities preferred
• Background check required for employment
