Enhance senior services in Toronto as a Community-Focused Seniors Program Coordinator. Lead the development and delivery of engaging programs at Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre that promote healthy aging and inclusion.

This role involves collaborating with the Manager of Seniors Programs to address emerging trends affecting seniors. You will implement educational and recreational activities that encourage peer engagement, volunteerism, and meaningful participation in community life. Your efforts will help reduce social isolation among seniors in the Waterfront area.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design culturally relevant programming for seniors
• Assist seniors in accessing vital community services
• Engage volunteers and coordinate activities




• Maintain program reports and budget tracking
• Participate in regular meetings for program enhancement

Requirements:
• Education in social services, recreation, or similar fields
• At least 2 years’ experience in senior care settings
• Robust skills in planning and community outreach
• Knowledge of social, political, and economic factors affecting seniors
• Vulnerable Sector Screening is required
