Job Description Day-to-Day Insight Global is seeking an Operations Administrator to support a globally distributed organization on an initial one-month contract based in Vancouver, BC. This individual will provide temporary coverage while members of the operations team are on leave. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, tech-savvy self-starter who can quickly adapt to new systems, take ownership of incoming requests, and work effectively with minimal supervision.
The Operations Administrator will support daily office operations, manage requests from internal employees, maintain physical inventory and sample libraries, coordinate shipments, assist with procurement, and provide general administrative support. This person will work closely with the Operations Manager and support approximately 40 employees across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
The Operations Administrator will manage day-to-day office coordination and provide administrative support to internal employees across multiple regions. Responsibilities will include maintaining office supplies, equipment, inventory, and physical sample libraries; processing requests for sample materials and fabrics; coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments; supporting procurement requests; and maintaining organized electronic and physical filing systems.



This person will also assist with meeting preparation, office facilities, workplace safety, recycling, and general operational needs. The successful candidate must be comfortable managing competing requests, learning recent software, and independently prioritizing work while knowing when to escape issues to the Operations Manager.
Must Haves Minimum 2 years of experience in administration, office coordination, operations, or office management
Strong experience using Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Calendar
Experience using project management and collaboration platforms such as Asana
Experience working with document management, inventory management, or operational software beyond standard office applications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing requests and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Plusses Experience supporting a remote or globally distributed workforce
Experience maintaining inventory, sample libraries, or physical assets
Experience coordinating procurement, shipping, logistics, or facilities activities
Experience working within a non-profit organization
Familiarity with workplace health and safety procedures
