AVI Health & Community Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in Victoria, BC. Engage in harm reduction practices while providing essential healthcare to those in need within the SAFER program.

In this role, you'll join an interdisciplinary team to deliver care focused on the complex needs of participants dealing with substance use. Your responsibilities will include assessments, educational support, and care coordination. We prioritize a trauma-informed approach that champions equity and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and support participants with various health concerns
• Collaborate with community partners for seamless care
• Educate participants on health management and services
• Provide ongoing monitoring aligned with care plans
• Foster compassionate relationships with individuals in need

Requirements:
• Current BCCNM license as a Practical Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Background in supervised consumption or harm reduction
• Robust advocacy and communication skills
• Understanding of public health principles
