Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer to join our Western Canada Irrigation Team. This full-time role emphasizes irrigation planning and design, hydraulic structure design, and hydrological analysis. Candidates will engage in technical tasks, project management, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare engineering reports and specifications for irrigation projects
• Lead project designs from concept to construction




• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on irrigation standards
• Conduct field investigations as required
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in water conveyance projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
• Registered as a P.Eng with APEGA in Alberta
• Robust communication and presentation skills
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D and modeling software is an asset
