Become a vital part of Mackenzie Health as an Emergency Preparedness Specialist. This role focuses on coordinating education, training, and activities to enhance emergency readiness across the organization.

Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Risk, you will work closely with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and external partners. Your primary task will be to develop and implement comprehensive emergency preparedness training and coordinate drills. You will also support day-to-day risk management activities and report compliance with training requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop corporate-wide emergency preparedness education and training
• Conduct EP orientation and recertification sessions




• Coordinate annual emergency drills for each Emergency Code
• Track EP training records and corporate compliance
• Support the Emergency Preparedness Steering Committee

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in healthcare or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of emergency management in healthcare
• Knowledge of hospital emergency response codes
• Familiarity with Incident Management System (IMS)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
