About The Role
Reporting to the Lead Team Reporter, the Team Reporter & Producer will serve as an on-camera talent across all OEGSE digital channels, representing the Edmonton Oilers and OEG Sports & Entertainment. Responsibilities include comprehensive coverage of all 84 regular season home/away games, pre-season action, and NHL Stanley Cup Playoff games as required.
Your Focus In This Role
Represent the Edmonton Oilers and OEG Sports & Entertainment as on-camera talent across original programming, digital features, social content, and promotional campaigns
Produce pre-game, post-game, practice day, and other features for OilersTV and Oilers+
Conduct interviews and contribute questions to Edmonton Oilers players, coaches, and management throughout media availabilities
Produce, film, and support the delivery of both short-form and long-form content in partnership with the video production and creative content teams.
Contribute to Oilers home games by providing in-game analysis during OTV Intermission Reports
Fosters positive relationships with hockey operations including players, coaches, team staff and PR team
Travels with the team on road trips to provide exclusive coverage for Oilers digital channels as needed
Hosts special events for Oilers Entertainment Group including but not limited to Oilers Skills Competition, autograph sessions, golf tournaments, charitable initiatives and other corporate partnerships functions
Support written and video content across all Edmonton Oilers and OEGSE platforms including (but not limited to) EdmontonOilers.com, YouTube, Oilers+ and the Oilers Mobile App

Education, Experience And Skills
Prior experience in sports broadcasting role or as on-air talent is required.
Strong editing skills on Adobe Premiere Pro a requirement; Knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop an asset
Willingness and ability to work flexible and unpredictable hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
Excellent verbal, written, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience operating a variety of professional video cameras and DSLRs; experience operating Sony Cameras including the FS7, FX6, and FX3 considered an asset
Communicates effectively, builds employee relationships, and provides support to all key stakeholders to ensure achievement of OEG Inc. goals and objectives
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick content turnaround deadlines
Post-secondary degree or diploma in broadcast journalism, digital media or related field
Must possess a valid passport for potential team travel outside of Canada
