Excel as an Anesthesia Assistant at Schroeder Ambulatory Centre in Ontario. This part time, on-site role involves providing support in anesthesia care and ensuring patient safety during procedures.

In this position, you will report to the Manager of OR & PACU, contributing to the care of patients undergoing various types of anesthesia under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist. Key skills required include clinical assessment, critical thinking, and effective teamwork within the healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in surgical procedures requiring anesthesia support
• Monitor anesthesia and maintain hemodynamic stability
• Perform assessments per physician orders and policies
• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork and communication




• Maintain clinical competence through continual learning

Requirements:
• Completion of accredited Anesthesia Assistant program
• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences
• Registration with Ontario nursing or respiratory therapy college
• Current ACLS certification and previous peri-operative experience
• Strong clinical skills and communication abilities
