Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership from day one over bookkeeping and invoices across Canada and the US. Your role not only includes month-end tasks but also aims at optimizing reporting processes and establishing robust accounting capabilities as you progress. Your contributions will directly impact month-end closings and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee month-end accounting functions consistently
• Execute timely general ledger entries and reconciliations
• Handle accounts receivable processes including invoicing
• Ensure on-time vendor invoice payments and coordination
• Drive improvements in company-wide reporting processes
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years in accountant or bookkeeping role
• Solid experience with full-cycle accounting
• Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records
• Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of US GAAP is a bonus
