Role Description
This full-time, on-site role is based in Toronto, ON. The Marketing and Operations Associate (Bilingual) will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks including supporting marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient operational processes, and providing bilingual assistance in both English and French. The associate will engage with clients, contribute to business strategies, and collaborate with various teams to drive organizational goals. Robust communication and organizational abilities are critical to succeed in this role.

Job Description
Marketing

Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives

Manage proactive marketing initiatives to increase awareness and interest in the market

Responsible for pitch and proposal strategy and contributing to creative strategy

Contribute to the creation, design and development of materials as needed

Lead and manage the business development process for presentations from commencement to material completion, interfacing directly with leadership throughout the process

Responsible for assembling, writing (or editing), and updating written content in English and French

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs





Create and execute marketing campaigns across various channels

Coordinate and make edits and updates to marketing deliverables, delivering final, clean outputs

Manage and analyze marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness

Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, and social media

Monitor and report on competitor activity and industry trends

Manage the process of mass e-mails, preparation of videoconferencing calls, recordings and links.

Responsible for updating all information on our website

Be the point of liaison with our Marketing web specialist, social media, videos, podcasts

Monitor and facilitate CE credited presentations for advisors and other professionals

Ensure best practice sharing and adoption

Operations

Support the Bilingual Operations Associate to manage daily Operations tasks, Funds’ subscription process and documentation, year-end tax slip validation and distribution, etc.

Manage and regularly update contact information databases, including mailing and email records

Collaborate with our Marketing web specialist to oversee the online subscription agreement platform, ensuring optimal user experience through ongoing review, testing and enhancements

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French, preference given to Québec French

Strong knowledge of MailChimp mass e-mail system and Adobe InDesign

Minimum 5 years of marketing experience

Familiarity with the asset management or financial services industry is a significant asset.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Ability to work within a team environment with little supervision

Excellent organizational skills coupled with high energy approach and thinking capability
