Your New CompanyOur client, an award‑winning, innovative architectural practice known for delivering high‑quality projects across multiple sectors, is currently looking to hire an experienced Design Architect to join their team.Your New RoleAs a Design Architect/Senior Design Architect, you will be responsible for leading the conceptual and design development of a varied portfolio of architectural projects, translating client vision, programmatic requirements, and contextual factors into innovative, high‑quality design solutions. This role emphasizes creative leadership, design excellence, and collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders, from early concept through design development and into documentation support. You will act as a design steward for projects, ensuring design intent is maintained while balancing functionality, constructability, sustainability, and client goals.Key Responsibilities include:- Design Leadership & Concept Development- Client Engagement & Communication- Project Collaboration & Coordination- Mentorship & Studio Contribution- Quality, Sustainability & InnovationWhat You Need to SucceedTo thrive in this role, you bring strong architectural design expertise, exceptional communication skills, and proven experience leading the design & development of varied projects:Qualifications include:- Professional Degree in Architecture, with an OAA license (or on path to licensure)- At least 5+ years of dedicated architectural design experience.



7-10+ years for a Senior Design Architect level.- Experience across multiple project types (e.G., commercial, institutional, residential, mixed‑use)- Familiarity with sustainable design standards (LEED, WELL, Passive House, etc.)- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, design development, and built work- Proficiency in design and visualization tools such as Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering software- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Ability to lead design efforts while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teamsWhat You Will Receive in ReturnThe successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package, including a salary commensurate with experience ($95k-$130k) + bonus, a minimum of 3 weeks' vacation (negotiable based on seniority) + personal days, a hybrid work environment, comprehensive benefits and a supportive, collaborative team setting with opportunities for professional growth.What You Need To Do NowIf you’re ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to an innovative architectural practice, we’d love to hear from you.
