Brookes Westshore School Society is seeking an enthusiastic temporary teacher for the IB Middle Years Program. This full-time role covers a 7-month contract, beginning September 1, 2026, and offers market-competitive salary based on qualifications. Candidates will develop engaging curriculum units, monitor student progress, and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver IB units integrated with BC Curriculum • Communicate regularly with students and parents about progress • Assign and evaluate classwork, tests,



and homework • Participate in faculty and parent meetings as required • Support extracurricular activities and lunch supervision

Requirements: • Valid BC teaching certificate or in progress before September 2026 • Bachelor’s degree in education • Experience teaching middle school and knowledge of IB • Familiarity with BC Curriculum • First Aid Level 1 or higher is an asset
