Support adult clients in addiction treatment as a Residential Care Worker. This role requires organizational abilities and a deep commitment to client-centered care practices.
In this position, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, providing essential services to clients struggling with addiction. Your responsibilities include conducting client orientations, facilitating educational sessions, and responding to crises effectively. Organizational skills and proficiency in IT applications are crucial for maintaining records and facilitating service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site support to clients in recovery
• Lead educational and support sessions for residents
• Ensure proper documentation is maintained
• Handle emergency situations with a calm approach
• Manage aspects of facility security and maintenance
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 education
• Certification in CPR-C and First Aid necessary
• IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office programs
• Experience working in addictions care preferred
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
